My life explained

Always observing with intent; always analyzing outcomes and potential scenarios. I do feel I have identified with these "Sigma" labels since childhood with exception to the seemingly persistent idea that most "Sigma" behave within, and rarely deviate from, the realm of projecting constant Stoicism. That's the one major facet of many of these analyses which I've not frequently displayed unless I find it profoundly necessary in a given situation, or among certain people. Aside from that, each and every other descriptive quality has always felt as if it is deeply and inherently ingrained within me. Prior to ever hearing of this Sigma Concept and it's prevalence among others, for the greater portion of my life thus far, I attributed it to having been an only child, and often left to my own devices being given a loose leash and the mental and physical freedom to explore my interests without being pushed toward conformity, nor any sort of filial/sibling rivalry to be distracted by. We humans are what we are, "Sigma" or otherwise, and I count myself as fortunate that the world and people within my surroundings always seemed to have allowed me the time and space for which to figure things out with little interference of my own process. These labels of Sigma/Alpha/Beta etc., seem entirely unnecessary to me, and yet it is understandable that, overall as humans, most all people appear to navigate the abstract grey areas and seemingly arbitrary concepts, far easier when things can be placed into boxes and neatly categorized; hence the hierarchical labeling of individual attributes for ease of identification (whether accurate, or 'close enough'). It's understandable since nobody ever really has a desire to feel indefinitely confused about their place within said hierarchies.

Okay look. My guess is all Sigmas are empathic to a degree. We have intuition and we listen to it. We're not all wealthy, we may be antisocial, introspective, deep thinkers who understand more about people than they do themselves. We're intelligent and we're generally able to take care of ourselves. We understand how and when to use psychological and physiological tricks to protect ourselves or fortify ourselves.

At a very young age I felt I was special because of the large amount of unsolicited attention. I have many memories of instances that, looking back, were signs of Sigma. I have, all my life, questioned myself of this ability. It took a long time before I stopped wondering if these instances mere coincidence. My confidence went next level when I stopped questioning it, and accepted it, but always wary. Hearing this has solidified my confidence. It's going to take some focus and concentration to keep calm about this.

For most of my life, I thought that I was a freak. Turns out I am; an INFJ Sigma Male.
